Represent your friends
“Represent your friends” is a durational artwork initiated by Vincent Jonsson and is continuously performed by everyone that participates in it. The work was to challenge the commodification of identity in the gig-economy-based art market. It wants to highlight the value of personal networks and relationships over branding. As well as highlight how we are connected to a collective genius (scenius) and the mutual support that happens within communities.
The artwork is open source and anyone who wants to participate, own and perform the artwork is welcome to!
